Teaching
Personalised traditional and Suzuki cello lessons for students of all ages and abilities, offered both in person in London and online.

Teaching Experience
Ludovico is an experienced cello teacher and music educator working with students of all ages and abilities, from young beginners aged three and above to advanced musicians and adult learners. He provides cello lessons both in person and online, working with students in the UK and internationally.
Over the years, he has developed extensive experience across a wide range of teaching settings, from individual lessons and Suzuki teaching to whole-class instrumental teaching, youth orchestras and music theory. He regularly prepares students for ABRSM examinations.
He works with established educational organisations in London, including Haringey Music Service, London Suzuki Hub and Lauderdale Suzuki, and has taught in schools such as Alleyn’s School, Regent’s Park and St Helen’s School. He is also regularly invited to teach in music workshops.

Teaching Philosophy
Ludovico believes that every student can develop a meaningful and rewarding relationship with music when learning takes place in a supportive, encouraging and inspiring environment.
His teaching approach combines a strong technical foundation with creativity, active listening and musical expression. He aims to create lessons where students feel comfortable expressing their personality, developing confidence and building a genuine connection with the instrument.
During lessons, Ludovico regularly plays alongside his students and demonstrates musical concepts on the cello, helping them develop a beautiful sound, secure intonation and a clear understanding of musical expression. For younger pupils, he uses a creative and engaging approach, incorporating games and activities to nurture curiosity and enthusiasm. With older students, he encourages independence by developing the skills needed to practise effectively and progress with confidence.
Beyond individual lessons, Ludovico believes strongly in the importance of musical community. He organises group lessons and concerts for his students and encourages them to perform, play with others and take part in ensembles, creating opportunities to share music and grow together.
Ultimately, his goal is not only to develop accomplished musicians, but also to nurture a lifelong love for music and help every student build confidence, creativity and self-expression.
